The Nevada Reports are books where important court decisions from Nevada's higher courts are published. These decisions are also printed in another book called the Pacific Reporter. This guide helps you find and update citations from early versions called Advance Opinions to the final Nevada Reports. When citing Nevada court cases, first use the Nevada Reports citation, and if needed, add the Pacific Reporter citation. If there are differences between the early and final versions, use the final one.
The Nevada Reports are the official compilation of decisions issued by the Nevada Appellate Courts that have been designated by those courts for publication. These same cases are also available in the Pacific Reporter -- an unofficial, commercial publication of Nevada case law. This guide provides the Comparative Tables from 1988 to the present to assist researchers in checking and updating citations from the Nevada Advance Opinions (Nev. Adv. Op.) to the Nevada Reports (Nev.) when the official bound volume is published.
In case of discrepancies between the preliminary print and the final version in the bound volumes of the Nevada Reports, the bound version controls.
For examples and guidance on citing the Advance Opinions and Nevada Reports, please refer to the Nevada Citation Guide.

Follow the links below to access the Comparative Tables for volume 104 (1988) to volume 137 (2021) to convert the Advance Opinion citation to a final citation in the Nevada Reports and/or the parallel citation to the Pacific Reporter. There are no Comparative Tables in the Nevada Reports prior to 1988. This guide will be updated with the newest bound volume when it has been published.
