Nevada Administrative Docket (ADKT) User Guide

ADKTs are documents that show changes to Nevada court rules. Each ADKT includes details like which rules were added, changed, or removed, the ADKT number, the date the order was made, when the rules start, and a note saying the order was published in the State Bar of Nevada’s journal. For ADKTs from before 1978, you can ask the Law Library for help. They can provide the documents and help if you contact them by email or phone.

Published ADKTs will all follow the same format and the same types of information will be included:

• Specific rules adopted, amended, or repealed
• ADKT number
• Date of order
• Effective date
• Notice of publication of order into the journal of the State Bar of Nevada

If a rule was adopted or amended before 1978 (before ADKTs were published), the Law Library can aid you in getting a copy of the order that was published at that time.
