Nevada court rules govern procedures for the conduct of court business in Nevada courts. Consult the relevant court rules regarding your case for further citation guidance.

Administrative Dockets (ADKTs)

The Nevada Supreme Court has the authority to adopt, amend, or repeal administrative rules. Refer to the examples below to assist in citing to records on the Administrative Docket.

Example: In re Creation of a Comm. to Study the Rules Governing Alternative Dispute Resolution and Nev. Short Trial Rules, ADKT 0595 (Order Amending the Rules Governing Alternate Dispute Resolution and Nevada Short Trial Rules, Oct. 26, 2022).
Example: In the Matter of Amendments to Supreme Court Rules Relating to Attorney Misconduct, ADKT 0608 (Order Amending Supreme Court Rules 99-122, Sept. 26, 2023).

Nevada Jury Instructions

The State Bar of Nevada has published two sets of jury instructions — criminal and civil.
