Nevada Legislative History

After finding the year, bill type, and bill number, use the Legislative History Search tool from the Legislative Counsel Bureau. Choose your bill type from the menu, enter the bill number and year, and then click search. You don’t have to fill in the page number field. This tool helps you find the compiled history of the bill.

Once you have identified the year, the bill type (Senate or Assembly), and the bill number, you can use the Legislative History Search tool from the Legislative Counsel Bureau Research Library to locate a compiled legislative history, if one exists.

To search:

1. Select the bill type (Senate or Assembly) from the drop-down menu.
2. Enter the bill number and the year in the appropriate fields.
3. Click Search to view the results.

The page number field is optional and can be left blank if you do not have that information.
